Manager Structuring Analytics - Unit Linked (80-100%)

About the role

Zurich's Unit-Linked team within Savings & Retirement works on capital-light products and propositions, currently focusing on unit-linked savings in several countries. The team is organised into a front-end proposition side and a back-end structuring analytics side, and is looking for a manager to lead the analytics work. The position is full time, hybrid, based in Zürich.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a framework and tooling for evaluating and creating new capital-light and market-risk products across Savings (unit-linked, hybrid unit-linked) and Retirement (drawdown).
• Drive technical analytics and act as an analytics bridge between Savings & Retirement, business units and Group departments to share data and tooling.
• Build and share expertise in product and capital modelling, including risk structuring, risk management and risk transformation.
• Analyse and implement capital methodology, risk assessments, liquidity implications and accounting considerations, working with Investment, Risk and Finance teams.
• Support and drive projects with the Proposition team and local business units so that the right tooling is in place to quantify risks and financial flows.

Required profile

• 10+ years' experience in insurance or financial services.
• Detailed understanding of insurance economics, product structures and the product life cycle.
• Detailed understanding of different regulatory and capital regimes.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Excellent technical skills, including assessing and modelling complex cash flow systems with data and code (AI-supported).
• Data analytics and applied statistics experience or similar.
• Negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Project and program management support.
