Manufacturing Operations Manager – Pharmaceutical Process

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager to lead pharmaceutical manufacturing operations focused on drug product filling processes. You will ensure robust, reliable production while supporting innovation, cost‑improvement, and regulatory compliance across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee economic production of parenteral products in strict compliance with GMP and aseptic handling standards.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to define production objectives, cascade targets, and drive alignment.
• Develop and up‑skill the workforce, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Maintain a safe, high‑quality work environment by enforcing safety and quality protocols.
• Monitor production output against KPIs, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Review manufacturing issues, assess risks, and proactively mitigate disruptions.
• Drive cost‑improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Support inspections, regulatory filings, and health‑authority responses as the subject‑matter expert for production topics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably with parenteral or aseptic products.
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and aseptic processing requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and influence outcomes.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
