Planning Coordinator Car Assembly

About the role

The Planning Coordinator will join the Audi Motorsport team in Hinwil, supporting the preparation and execution of race‑car assembly for Formula 1 events. This role ensures that parts are ready, schedules are met, and the factory‑track interface runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the kit list assigned by the Leader, ensuring timely completion.
• Coordinate with the Home Team Planning Group to set priorities and guarantee predictable factory execution.
• Act as the final authority for race‑event parts readiness and sub‑assembly compliance.
• Collaborate with multiple departments (PM, Quality, Production Engineering, Design, Procurement, Race Team) to define part requirements and deadlines.
• Safeguard build‑freeze integrity, allocate parts under tight deadlines, and mitigate risks to race‑car readiness.
• Raise and report Design Change Requests (DCR) and Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) while maintaining SAP traceability and documentation compliance.

Required profile

• Experience in car build, car assemblies, or high‑performance automotive manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, conceptual thinking, and pragmatic implementation skills.
• Ability to maintain focus, accuracy, and composure under extreme time constraints.
• Proactive, flexible, resilient, and solution‑oriented personality.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP (mandatory).
