Marketing and Business Development Specialist for .POST

About the role

The Universal Postal Union (UPU) is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Specialist to support the .POST top‑level domain and its associated digital services platform. Reporting to the .POST Business Manager, the incumbent will help drive growth, shape product offerings and promote the .POST brand worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and implementing business, marketing and sales plans for .POST and related products.
• Provide accurate forecasts and timely information on .POST development.
• Research customer needs and propose solutions to address identified gaps.
• Identify and develop strategic relationships with UPU stakeholders, Internet policy bodies and partners in digital and cyber governance.
• Contribute to strategic business planning, service delivery and policy implementation for .POST.
• Support the .POST Group with business administration and operational tasks.
• Offer technical expertise for the development and maintenance of the .POST digital services framework, including DNS, hosted, cybersecurity and e‑commerce services.
• Execute product development, communications and digital marketing activities to strengthen the .POST brand and generate revenue.

Required profile

• Experience supporting senior business managers in marketing, business development or product development.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce forecasts and market insights.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships in the digital or postal sector.
• Good understanding of Internet policy, digital governance and cyber‑security trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
