Master Planner (m/f/d)

About the role

Jabil is looking for an experienced Master Planner (m/f/d) for a permanent full-time position in Bettlach, starting immediately or on a mutually agreed date. The Master Planner ensures the efficient execution of production planning by balancing customer demand, supply, inventory and manufacturing capacity, working closely with cross-functional teams to support business growth through accurate forecasting and scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end production planning process, aligning customer demand, material availability, capacity and production priorities
• Develop, maintain and optimize the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for on-time delivery and efficient resource use
• Monitor planning performance, inventory health and schedule attainment, and act proactively on risks to prevent supply disruptions
• Lead planning meetings and drive collaboration between Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance and Manufacturing
• Analyze demand and capacity requirements, identify constraints and recommend actions
• Facilitate customer reviews and planning discussions, and support the S&OP process through forecast reviews and demand-supply alignment
• Maintain accurate planning data and system integrity in ERP and planning tools
• Promote continuous improvement in planning, reporting, forecasting and digital tools, and coach planners as the subject matter expert
• Support business reporting, forecasting and performance management with Finance, and uphold safety, quality and regulatory compliance

Required profile

• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, business administration or a related field
• APICS CPIM or similar planning qualification is an advantage
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in the medical device industry is highly preferred; pharmaceutical or watchmaking experience is also valued
• Solid German and good English, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
