Material Requirement Planner (MRP) – Key Chemical Supplier

About the role

The Material Requirement Planner (MRP) will ensure that material plans are accurate and timely, supporting the product supply plan for a key chemical supplier. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to keep material availability aligned with production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material requirement plans to guarantee timely material availability.
• Convert planned orders into purchase requisitions (BANF) and manage the creation of purchase orders.
• Collaborate with Material Project Leads and Operational Buyers to keep plans up‑to‑date and address changes or shortages.
• Maintain detailed planning parameters in SAP and other planning systems.
• Monitor, report, and drive escalations for on‑time material releases.
• Create and manage material‑related KPIs, safety stock, and inventory optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Material Requirement Planner.
• CPIM certification is required.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities in English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP MM module proficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• PowerPoint and PowerBI competence.
