Media & Digital Communications Manager (80-100% time)

About the role

Climeworks is seeking a Media & Digital Communications Manager to support its global media relations and digital communications. Reporting to the Head of Media & Issues, you will ensure smooth press office operations, drive media engagement, and deliver consistent external communications across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor global media coverage, track narratives, sentiment and trends, and provide insights for communication strategies.
• Manage inbound media requests, coordinate timely responses, and work with subject‑matter experts and senior spokespeople.
• Maintain and develop journalist networks in priority markets, especially the DACH region, and keep media databases up to date.
• Support media outreach, relationship‑building, and execution of media campaigns, announcements and localized initiatives.
• Draft and review media responses, Q&As, briefing materials and spokesperson preparation documents.
• Publish and coordinate content across websites and social media platforms, aligning digital activities with broader communication objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in communications, media relations or related fields.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and with senior stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
