Medical Technologies and Innovation Intern

About the role

Join the Medical Technologies and Innovation Unit at MSF Operational Center Geneva to support the development and coordination of medical device and digital health projects. This internship offers hands‑on experience in a humanitarian setting, contributing to innovative solutions for field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for meetings, agenda preparation, minute taking and document archiving.
• Manage information flow, act as focal point for online platforms such as Kompas and SharePoint, and prepare project documents and presentations.
• Assist the Digital Health Advisor and Coordinator on project portfolio tasks, conduct background research and engage with stakeholders.
• Own and moderate the ThinkUP platform, keep it updated, design campaigns and engage the community.

Required profile

• Tripartite internship agreement; Master’s degree (finished or in progress) in medical, para‑medical, design, technology, innovation, humanitarian or development studies.
• Strong interest in health‑related technology and innovation.
• Analytical and synthesis abilities, planning and organization skills, knowledge of humanitarian context.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French; team player, autonomous, proactive and solution‑oriented.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Familiarity with online collaboration tools (Kompas, SharePoint, ThinkUP platform).

What we offer

• Full‑time 40 h/week internship for 6–9 months starting January 2027.
• Gross monthly remuneration of 2 000 CHF.
