Metals Middle Office Specialist – Geneva

About the role
We are seeking a Metals Middle Office Specialist to join a leading commodities trading firm in Geneva. The role sits at the core of the trading lifecycle, linking Front Office, Risk, Operations, Finance and Logistics to ensure smooth processing of physical metals trades.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the complete trade lifecycle from execution to settlement.
- Capture trades accurately and maintain data integrity in the ETRM system.
- Perform daily position, P&L and inventory reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve trade and settlement discrepancies.
- Support risk controls and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Identify and drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Middle Office role within commodities trading.
- Strong knowledge of physical metals, including base and precious metals.
- Solid understanding of trade lifecycle processes and operational risk.
- Fluent English; French is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ETRM/CTRM systems.
- Advanced Excel skills.
