MIC Technician (m/f/d) – Rescue Helicopter Medical Interiors

About the role

Bucher Leichtbau AG develops and manufactures medical interiors for rescue helicopters in its Medical Interior Components division. As a MIC Technician you ensure that these systems are manufactured with precision and installed professionally in the helicopter. You will work on helicopters such as the H135 and H145, and during installation assignments in Europe you will represent the company directly to the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble high-quality components and subassemblies for rescue helicopters
• Perform precise riveting, bonding and laminating work
• Install medical equipment directly into rescue helicopters at the customer's site
• Work according to technical specifications and follow quality standards
• Oversee products from manufacturing through to installation in the aircraft
• Represent the company to customers during installation assignments in Europe

Required profile

• Completed technical training in the mechanical field, such as polymechanic or machine fitter
• At least three years of professional experience in a regulated technical environment
• Experience in assembly and enjoyment of technically demanding hands-on work
• Good written and spoken German; English at least at B1 level
• Meticulous, quality-conscious approach, team spirit and personal responsibility
• Enjoys assembly assignments and travel of about 20–40 km
