Mid-Level Legal Assistant – Switzerland Representative Office

About the role

Connect44 is looking for a Mid-Level Legal Assistant to join its Switzerland Representative Office in Bern or Zurich and support the Legal team with legal and administrative matters. The position is permanent, and the Legal Assistant works independently on routine legal work within a defined area of responsibility, following applicable legal policies and processes, and is responsible for the quality, standardization and efficiency of the work.

Key responsibilities

• Legal environment support: conduct legal research, monitor global legislative and law enforcement developments, prepare summaries, and develop legal awareness materials such as training materials, videos, promotional content and guides.
• Legal review and opinions: carry out routine legal reviews according to policies, processes and guidelines, and support the issuance of legal opinions.
• Legal disputes: assist with evidence investigation, collect and organize evidence, and track the progress of legal cases.
• Knowledge management: assist with legal knowledge management, support project retrospectives and enablement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a Swiss university.
• Fluent German.
• Approximately 2 years of legal work experience.
• Ability to coordinate with external law firms in line with external legal requirements and corporate management standards.
• Ability to assist the Legal Affairs Supervisor with external communication and negotiations, contract reviews and internal training.
