Mobile Application Developer (Cross-Platform Mobile Engineer)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer to join a long‑term enterprise project in Basel. This 3‑year contract position focuses on building secure, high‑performance cross‑platform mobile solutions for field‑force operations, real‑time tracking, and asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native and native iOS/Android components.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend services via RESTful APIs, SOAP/XML, JSON, and XML mappings.
• Ensure cross‑platform compatibility and reliable performance on iOS and Android devices.
• Implement monitoring, error analysis, and performance tracking mechanisms.
• Integrate authentication and authorisation protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Support integration testing, produce technical documentation, and manage production defect analysis and change requests.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of enterprise mobile application development experience.
• Proven expertise with React Native and hybrid native integrations.
• Strong background in connecting mobile apps to backend services using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Experience delivering mission‑critical mobile solutions for large organisations.
