Mobile Software Engineer (80-100%)

About the role

Join Migros Online’s cross‑functional mobile team to shape Switzerland’s most popular retail app. You will work on features that make grocery shopping simpler, faster and more sustainable for millions of customers, while collaborating with designers, data analysts and other engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Own feature implementation from concept to production, including monitoring and technical debt reduction.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, pair/mob programming, code reviews and continuous integration pipelines.
• Contribute to improving development practices such as TDD, BDD and trunk‑based development.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate REST APIs and ensure end‑to‑end quality.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on mobile technologies.
• Completed degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, curiosity and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to write clean, testable and maintainable code.
• Fluency in English (B2); German or French is a plus.
