About the role
As a Named Account Manager based in Lausanne, you will drive new business opportunities and nurture existing relationships for Fortinet’s cybersecurity portfolio. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, guiding prospects from initial pitch through onboarding and long‑term growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead new‑business pitches and develop comprehensive business and account plans for tender opportunities.
- Onboard new clients efficiently and work to expand the footprint of Fortinet solutions within existing accounts.
- Build and maintain executive‑level relationships (C‑suite) to understand business imperatives and align Fortinet’s value proposition.
- Conduct consultative selling, research prospects, identify decision‑makers, and qualify buying intent.
- Collaborate with system engineers, channel managers, and specialist sales teams to deliver enterprise‑wide deployments.
- Drive quarterly business reviews and keep customers informed of product roadmaps.
Required profile
- Proven sales experience in the hi‑tech sector, preferably cybersecurity or networking.
- Consistent record of exceeding quota and developing strategic customer relationships.
- Highly motivated self‑starter with strong attention to detail and a competitive mindset.
- Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Fundamental understanding of Fortinet technology and cybersecurity solutions.
