National Consultant – Environmental & Climate Assessment (Ghana)

About the role
We are seeking a National Consultant to lead an environmental and climate assessment in Ghana. The consultant will work closely with the International Trade Centre (ITC) to produce a comprehensive analysis of environmental risks, climate vulnerabilities, and related opportunities for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the digital ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and finalize the report outline by mid‑July 2026, incorporating the analytical framework provided by ITC.
- Conduct an initial desk‑review, integrate findings into the report, and design a workplan for stakeholder consultations.
- Participate in regular coordination calls with ITC throughout the assignment.
- Deliver the first draft report by mid‑August 2026, covering risk analysis, vulnerability assessment, and potential interventions.
- Incorporate ITC feedback, finalize stakeholder consultation summaries, and submit the final report by mid‑September 2026.
- Prepare inputs for presentations of key findings and recommendations.
Required profile
- Proven experience in environmental risk analysis and climate vulnerability assessments.
- Familiarity with MSME contexts and digital ecosystem dynamics.
- Ability to design and conduct stakeholder consultations and synthesize results.
- Strong analytical writing skills and capacity to produce high‑quality reports.
