.NET Software Engineer – German speaking

About the role

We are looking for a motivated .NET Software Engineer to join an innovative software company near Zurich. You will work on the full lifecycle of complex .NET applications, from initial concept through to a market‑ready product, in a German‑speaking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop complex .NET applications using .NET 9 and C#.
• Implement messaging layers and distributed system architecture.
• Write comprehensive system tests and apply Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• Set up and maintain Continuous Integration pipelines.
• Utilise mocking frameworks to ensure reliable unit testing.
• Collaborate within Scrum teams and contribute to agile delivery.
• Work both independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Participate in the creation of a new application from scratch.

Required profile

• Strong experience with complex .NET applications.
• Knowledge of messaging layers and distributed system design.
• Proficiency in system testing, TDD, CI and mocking frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
• Fluent German and legally entitled to work in Switzerland.
• Relevant degree is highly favourable.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work both individually and collaboratively.
