Network and Capabilities Manager

About the role

The Network and Capabilities Manager is responsible for overseeing Roche/Genentech’s global clinical distribution network, ensuring timely, reliable, and cost‑effective delivery of clinical trial supplies worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise a distribution network handling over 100,000 shipments per year across more than 23 warehouses and depots.
• Align network strategy with the overall distribution strategy, including new location set‑up and supplier relationship management.
• Control and optimise a spend of over 50 million CHF annually while driving best‑practice standardisation.
• Ensure GxP and GCP compliance of all network activities and collaborate with QA, Supply Chain, Procurement and Clinical Operations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of operational experience in supply chain, distribution or manufacturing, with a strong focus on clinical supply chain management.
• Proven expertise in end‑to‑end logistics, warehouse and transportation management, and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior leadership.
