Night Caregiver - Live-In, Gstaad (Winter Season)

About the role

A private chalet in Gstaad is looking for a compassionate and attentive night attendant to provide overnight supervision, reassurance and mobility assistance during the winter season. The role focuses on the principal's comfort and safety through the night, with emotional support when needed. No housekeeping duties are required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide constant but discreet overnight supervision to ensure the principal's safety and well-being
• Offer a calming presence during nighttime disturbances so the principal feels secure
• Assist with getting in and out of bed as required
• Help with restroom use and other hygiene-related needs
• Be available for conversation and companionship if the principal is unable to sleep

Required profile

• Prior experience in overnight caregiving, companion care or similar roles
• Patient, calm and emotionally supportive, able to provide reassurance
• Flexible and adaptable, especially if a rotation schedule with another night attendant is arranged
• Fluent in French and English

What we offer

• Private chalet setting in Gstaad, December 16 to March 10
• Schedule of 7 nights per week, 9 PM to 7 AM; rotation between two attendants may be preferable
• A live-in nurse is present for medical concerns, and three other live-in staff cover cooking, cleaning and daytime care
• No housekeeping duties
• Competitive salary, to be discussed based on experience
