About the role

This part‑time, fully remote opportunity is for an experienced Non‑Executive Director to join the Board of a fast‑growing fintech payment gateway. You will provide independent oversight, strategic guidance, and risk management expertise to help shape the company’s global expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Offer independent oversight on strategy, risk, and overall direction to the Board and executive team.
• Contribute to governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance at Board level.
• Participate actively in Board meetings, reviewing materials, minutes, and resolutions.
• Advise on major corporate decisions such as strategic initiatives, partnerships, and funding.
• Safeguard shareholder and stakeholder interests while upholding high ethical standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Non‑Executive Director, Board Member, or senior executive, preferably in financial services or fintech.
• Based in Switzerland with a strong professional network in the Swiss fintech ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of corporate governance principles and Board‑level responsibilities.
• Familiarity with Swiss regulatory and corporate environment is an advantage.
• Excellent judgment, integrity, and ability to challenge management constructively.
