Online Instructor – Fully Remote

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Online Instructor to deliver high‑quality courses for HCI College. The role is fully remote, allowing you to engage and mentor students from anywhere while upholding the college’s academic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with the approved syllabus.
• Prepare, upload, and maintain syllabus, lesson plans, assignments, and other materials using the college’s Learning Management System.
• Respond to student inquiries via email or LMS within 24 hours (excluding weekends).
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, discussions, and examinations.
• Provide timely feedback and grades, and hold virtual office hours for consultations.
• Maintain attendance records, grade sheets, and submit class rosters by established deadlines.
• Update and revise course content based on feedback and evolving curriculum needs.
• Collaborate with the Director of Online Education and academic leadership on curriculum development and program improvement.
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and professional‑development sessions.
• Contribute to student retention initiatives and overall program quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience teaching online courses at the college or university level.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage adult learners.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet academic deadlines.
• Commitment to professional ethics and student success.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Moodle Learning Management System.
• Experience using online communication tools (email, video conferencing) for instruction.
• Ability to create and upload digital course materials.
