Operations Manager – LATAM

About the role

Terminal Investment Limited (TiL) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for its LATAM region, based at the corporate headquarters in Geneva. You will work closely with terminal leadership across the network to drive performance improvement, capacity optimisation and best‑in‑class operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with terminal leadership to develop and implement action plans that enhance productivity and capacity.
• Track, report and analyse progress of improvement initiatives, highlighting achievements and opportunities.
• Lead performance improvement projects such as process re‑engineering, technology upgrades and workforce optimisation.
• Support terminal staff on best practices, SOPs and safety‑first productivity techniques.
• Ensure compliance with TiL Minimum Health and Safety requirements and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Produce regular reports on terminal capacity, productivity and volume for management decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in operations, efficiency or operational excellence within container terminals.
• Proven track record of analysing operations, enhancing performance and optimising processes.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma methodology knowledge.
