Operations Manager – Lead Site Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take full end‑to‑end responsibility for the execution of customer orders, from engineering release and assembly through to final test and shipment. You will lead a team of approximately 35 people, with four direct reports, reporting directly to the Managing Director and participating in the site leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the organization through direct‑report managers, driving business performance and leadership excellence.
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration and remove barriers impacting operational performance and efficiency.
• Establish vision, plans, priorities and KPIs to ensure reliable delivery of products and services on time, at cost, and with quality.
• Assess, prioritize and budget capital investment, technologies and digitalisation needs.
• Secure effective and standardized work and SOPs, anticipate operational risks and take proactive action.
• Ensure a strong customer‑centric mindset and act as senior escalation point for critical operational issues.
• Strengthen the link between customer requirements, quality, engineering execution and production to optimise design for manufacturability.
• Lead continuous‑improvement culture using ALPS methodology, Lean, Six Sigma and other operational‑excellence tools.
• Promote structured problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues.
• Build a high‑performing organisation with clear accountability, collaboration and shared commitment to customer success.

Required skills
