Output Software Engineer – Platform Solution

About the role

Avaloq is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join its Output team within the Platform Solution CH/FL domain. You will focus on extracting financial and operational data via the Avaloq Core Platform (ACP) and generating client‑facing documents such as advice and layout statements. The role ensures that complex data is transformed into clear, compliant, and client‑oriented outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain data‑extraction pipelines using ACP to retrieve structured and unstructured data.
• Develop automated processes for creating advice and layout statements in PDF, HTML or XML formats.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners and client service teams to define output requirements.
• Guarantee high‑quality, timely delivery of client communications, including branding and localization.
• Optimize output generation for performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Document technical specifications, workflows and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience with a focus on data extraction and document generation.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
