Packaging Engineering Internship (6 Months)

About the role

Stryker is looking for a Packaging Engineering intern for a six-month student internship in Switzerland, based in Selzach. The internship supports the development, testing and improvement of packaging solutions for medical technology products, giving hands-on experience in a MedTech environment alongside experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the integration of new products into existing and new packaging systems for medical technology products.
• Contribute to innovative packaging solutions based on user needs and packaging development methods.
• Assist with packaging tests to verify and validate design concepts.
• Support prototype and production part testing, including preparation, setup and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing packaging concepts and develop new solutions.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program, or recently graduated, in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Materials, Industrial Engineering, etc.), Packaging Technology, Product Design or a related field.
• Confident communication in English (minimum B2); German (minimum B2) is a plus.
• Strong engineering thinking, hands-on mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

What we offer

• Stated annual pay of CHF 36,000; details discussed with the recruiter during the process.
