Partner & Head of Litigation

About the role

The Partner & Head of Litigation will lead the firm’s dispute resolution and litigation practice, providing strategic counsel and high‑level representation to national and international clients in complex commercial, civil, and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored litigation strategies aligned with commercial, regulatory and reputational objectives.
• Manage and oversee complex civil, commercial and cross‑border disputes, including high‑value claims.
• Represent clients before Swiss courts, international arbitral tribunals and regulatory bodies.
• Lead the growth of the litigation practice and cultivate long‑term client relationships.
• Drive business development, thought leadership and represent the firm at industry conferences.
• Mentor junior lawyers, ensure compliance with quality standards and meet billing targets.

Required profile

• Swiss bar admission with first‑class academic credentials (Master’s/PhD) and additional studies in business or financial law.
• 10+ years of experience as a lawyer, preferably in a partner role or senior in‑house position.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages (French, Italian) are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Established client network and ability to attract new mandates.

Required skills

• Expertise in civil and commercial litigation, capital markets, banking and regulatory disputes.
• Experience with arbitration and mediation, both domestic and international.
• Proven ability to lead high‑performing legal teams and drive knowledge sharing.
