Team Lead Legal & Procurement

About the role

We are seeking an experienced lawyer and leader to head our Legal & Procurement team within a large public sector organisation. The role combines legal governance, procurement management, and support for digital transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop an interdisciplinary team of lawyers and procurement specialists.
• Advise internal stakeholders on administrative law, data protection, information security, public procurement, and IT contract law.
• Develop procurement management processes and professional supplier management for hardware, software, and services.
• Provide legal support for IT and digitalisation projects, collaborating with senior management, committees, and authorities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law (or lic. iur.).
• Several years of proven leadership experience, preferably in the public sector or a highly regulated environment.
• Sound knowledge of public procurement law, contract law, data protection, and administrative law.

Required skills

• Full professional fluency in German with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and manage complex legal‑procurement projects.
