Part‑Time Accountant (10‑30% workload)

About the role

Aritec New Materials AG seeks an experienced accountant to work part‑time (approximately 10 %–30 % of a full‑time schedule). The role supports the finance function at headquarters and selected subsidiaries, offering flexibility with remote work and occasional on‑site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Review accounts receivable and payable with subsidiary accountants on a weekly basis.
• Assist in the preparation and follow‑up of Swiss VAT declarations each quarter.
• Support headquarters expense accounting and related reviews.
• Contribute to periodic P&L reviews and financial analysis.
• Assist with selected German VAT declarations.
• Participate in year‑end book closing activities and Swiss tax declaration processes.
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders as needed.

Required profile

• Mandatory Swiss accounting experience; candidates without it will not be considered.
• Ideally more than 10 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong, hands‑on knowledge of Swiss accounting principles and finance processes.
• Solid experience with Swiss VAT compliance and declarations.
• Experience supporting annual closing, tax declarations, and management reporting.
• Ability to work independently, structured and reliable.
• Good communication skills in an international business environment.
