Payroll Specialist – Temporary Assignment

About the role

Join our HR team for a meaningful temporary assignment as a Payroll Specialist. You will support end‑to‑end payroll operations for a multinational, matrix organization and develop hands‑on expertise in Swiss payroll compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage core payroll execution with external provider and internal People Services team, including data validation and final payment processing.
• Support month‑end payroll activities such as accruals, forecasting and presenting results to leadership.
• Coordinate with Finance on cost allocation, tax and social contribution reconciliation, and budget reporting.
• Handle statutory declarations, audit support for Swiss authorities, and process HR‑related invoices.
• Address escalated payroll questions and administrative matters from internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Sound knowledge of Swiss payroll regulations (AHV, social insurances, pension, canton requirements).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Full fluency in English; German and/or French a plus.

Required skills

• Dynamics 365 (preferred).
• WorkDay (preferred).
• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
