P&C Solution Architect – Guidewire & Zurich Solutions

About the role

You will join Zurich's Information & Technology unit within P&C Transformation, shaping the architectural direction of a key strategic initiative. The role focuses on designing end‑to‑end solutions across all Guidewire Centers and adjacent Zurich solutions while ensuring compliance with internal architecture standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end solution design for Guidewire Jutro Digital Platform, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and related Zurich solutions.
• Ensure architectural consistency and compliance with Zurich standards such as ASD42 across the full solution stack.
• Evaluate alternative solutions and make technical decisions in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Security and delivery teams.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust solution designs and guide them from concept to implementation.
• Act as the central point of contact for architectural topics, working closely with product owners, analysts, development teams and external partners.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect in an agile insurance environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Guidewire systems (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Jutro Digital Platform, Integration Gateway) at an international insurer.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to communicate technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Fluent in English and/or German at C1/C2 level.
