PCB Design Engineer (m/f/d) – Zurich

About the role

We are seeking a PCB Design Engineer (m/f/d) to join a leading defence and aerospace supplier in Zurich. The position starts immediately, is full‑time for an initial six‑month fixed term with the possibility of extension, and offers a hybrid work model after onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Support multiple defence and aerospace electronic design programmes, balancing priorities across projects.
• Own the complete PCB lifecycle – from component selection and schematic capture to layout, prototype testing and final documentation.
• Design complex, multi‑layer, high‑reliability circuit boards using Altium Designer.
• Prepare manufacturing packages and ensure strict configuration‑management compliance.

Required profile

• University degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of hands‑on experience in PCB design for development projects.
• Proven ability to work in defence or aerospace environments.
