People Operations & HR Systems Specialist

About the role

Volleyball World is looking for a People Operations & HR Systems Specialist to be the operational backbone of its People & Culture function. You will deliver efficient, employee‑centric HR services, ensure compliance with Swiss legislation, and drive continuous improvement through process optimisation and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, internal mobility and off‑boarding.
• Administer People Operations and statutory compliance, coordinating with insurance providers, pension funds, work‑permit and tax authorities.
• Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing responsive People Operations support.
• Maintain and optimise HR systems to ensure efficiency, user‑friendliness and legal compliance.
• Ensure data integrity, support HR reporting, dashboards and people analytics.
• Lead digitalisation initiatives to automate workflows and improve reporting.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end payroll with an external provider, guaranteeing accurate and timely payroll inputs.
• Ensure payroll compliance with Swiss employment legislation, social insurance requirements and internal policies.
• Manage relationships with external partners such as the Employer of Record.
