Personalised Medicine Intern (12-month assignment)

About the role

Join Debiopharm’s Personalised Medicine team and work at the forefront of oncology innovation. You will support liquid‑biopsy based biomarker investigations that accelerate patient‑centric clinical trials and shape the future of targeted cancer therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced data analyses on liquid‑biopsy sequencing results and propose follow‑up investigations.
• Drive integration of liquid‑biopsy approaches across the project portfolio and contribute to clinical trial protocol design.
• Advocate for adoption of liquid‑biopsy technologies within project teams and senior management.
• Support definition and implementation of biomarker strategies where liquid‑biopsy data are critical.
• Participate in cutting‑edge clinical investigations and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• PhD in life sciences, molecular biology, genetics or a related discipline.
• Experience analysing large datasets.
• Comfortable using basic bioinformatic tools.
• Previous experience with molecular diagnostic assays is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
