Postdoctoral Scientist – Peptide Therapeutics

About the role

Roche is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist to join an interdisciplinary team focused on peptide‑based therapeutics. The role involves advancing the understanding and optimisation of lead formulations for peptide candidates and fixed‑dose co‑formulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute study plans for pharmaceutical development of peptide and co‑formulations.
• Conduct in‑vitro stability studies and evaluate physicochemical properties.
• Collaborate with academic and industry partners to implement innovative formulation solutions.
• Present research findings through internal reports, scientific contributions and supervision of related projects.
• Initiate new research activities in peptide therapeutic development.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences, peptide chemistry or a related discipline.
• Strong hands‑on experience with peptide delivery systems and relevant analytical techniques.
• Highly motivated with a passion for applied scientific research and technical innovation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in international, cross‑functional teams.
