Press & PR Senior Manager

About the role

The Press & PR Senior Manager will shape the visibility, reputation and influence of Watches and Wonders Geneva. Reporting to the Communication Director, you will lead global and local media relations, build strategic partnerships and support the Foundation’s communication objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Press & PR initiatives aligned with the Foundation’s goals.
• Coordinate the global PR agency network, manage contracts, editorial plans and reporting.
• Maintain and grow relationships with journalists, bloggers, media outlets and key stakeholders.
• Draft press releases, pitches and other communication materials to secure coverage.
• Monitor media coverage, respond to inquiries and produce evaluation reports.
• Lead Geneva‑focused press and PR activities, liaise with city and cantonal authorities and cultivate institutional partnerships.
• Support the Communication Director in implementing the overall communication strategy and ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Identify, negotiate and manage strategic media partnerships, TV and broadcast opportunities, and influencer collaborations.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in press relations, communications or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the watchmaking industry and its media ecosystem.
• Proven track record in public relations, corporate communications or stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
