About the role

Collège Champittet, a leading international school in the Lake Geneva region, is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join its multilingual community. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality instruction in English while supporting students’ overall development.

Key responsibilities

• Create a supportive learning environment that encourages student agency and applies positive discipline principles.
• Act as a coach by setting challenging, inspiring, and motivating learning objectives aligned with the school’s philosophy.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse strengths and needs of each pupil, including gifted learners and those with special educational needs.
• Maintain regular, effective communication with parents regarding their children’s progress and achievements.
• Provide consistent oral and written feedback, ensuring accurate assessment and rating of student work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum five years of proven teaching excellence, preferably in an international school setting.
• Native English speaker with fluent French language skills.
• Valid Swiss work permit and a clean criminal record.
