Principal Data and AI Consultant

About the role

Zühlke, a Swiss-founded global transformation partner, is looking for a Principal Data and AI Consultant in Schlieren. Your main priority is to ensure Data and AI projects deliver the expected impact, from development and pre-sales to delivery and ongoing relationship management as a trusted advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients achieve their data and AI ambitions on projects such as strategy and transformation (use cases, maturity assessment, transformation roadmaps)
• Develop bespoke AI solutions: lead use case discovery, manage product backlogs, supervise delivery teams and ensure user acceptance
• Develop data and AI platforms: align architectures to user needs, define service and operating models, oversee delivery of data products
• Structure complex consulting engagements, steer project delivery, ensure quality of deliverables and manage customer expectations
• Bridge delivery teams (data scientists, data engineers, architects, developers) and business stakeholders from CxOs to junior staff
• Support consultants and business developers along the sales pipeline, from positioning meetings to consulting proposals
• Act as an internal and external ambassador and thought leader, publishing content and speaking at events
• Develop reusable assets such as packaged consulting offerings, templates and demonstrators

Required profile

• University degree from a leading institution in business or STEM
• 8+ years of hybrid consulting and Data and AI-related work experience
• Experience in one or more verticals such as banking, insurance, life science or manufacturing
• Deep knowledge of industry value chains, challenges and trends, especially around Data and AI
• Ability to inspire, build and lead interdisciplinary teams
• Assertive, proactive, customer-centric and results-oriented

Required skills

• Data and/or AI strategy, governance and management
• Implementation projects from idea to production
• Project management, workshop facilitation and selling consulting work
• German and English, written and spoken
