Principal Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Lead the mechanical design of multirotor UAVs and Drone‑in‑a‑Box systems in a fast‑moving, low‑bureaucracy environment. You will own product design from concept to production and shape next‑generation UAV technology.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of drones and Drone‑in‑a‑Box systems.
• Take full ownership of product design tasks from concept through production.
• Establish and manage PTC Windchill as the single source of truth for BOMs, engineering data, and production documentation.
• Ensure effective collaboration and process efficiency within Windchill.
• Deliver repeatable, production‑ready units and drive process improvements in the mechanical engineering pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience designing multirotor UAVs or complex electromechanical products.
• Hands‑on experience with PTC Windchill and setting up PLM/PDM pipelines.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or PTC Creo.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical ideas.
