Principal RF IC Designer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Principal RF IC Design Engineer to lead the development of MMICs for optical coherent applications. The role covers the full lifecycle from concept through to productisation, focusing on SiGe and silicon‑based ICs operating above 30 GHz.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of high‑frequency integrated circuits, from architecture and schematic design to layout and laboratory characterization.
• Manage projects, provide technical support to customers, and collaborate with test and application engineers.
• Ensure successful product release by overseeing the entire development cycle.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field with at least 6 years of IC design experience.
• Proven track record designing 30 Gbps TIAs and linear modulator drivers.
• Deep knowledge of SiGe bipolar or RF CMOS design and strong analog fundamentals.
• Experience in mmWave, RF, and analog IC design.

Required skills

• Cadence schematic and layout tools.
• Electromagnetic modeling tools such as EMX, ADS, HFSS, or Sonnet.
• Laboratory product characterization.
• Team leadership and project management.
