Private Assets Investment Controller – Geneva

About the role

Lombard Odier is expanding its Private Assets team in Geneva and seeks an Investment Controller to oversee the operational, financial and analytical aspects of private assets portfolios. The role is full‑time (80‑100%) and involves close collaboration with investment managers, accountants and other internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer private‑assets investment funds and mandates, including subscription processing and capital call/distribution notices.
• Prepare and release AUM and NNM reports, quarterly valuations and performance analytics.
• Support product launches from an operational perspective and manage client invoicing.
• Coordinate with fund accountants to ensure accurate bookkeeping and data integrity.
• Produce regular reports, dashboards and updates for senior management and board committees.
• Assist internal and external audits and contribute to IT system enhancements through user‑acceptance testing.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of controlling experience within private assets or similar investment environments.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written) and good knowledge of French.
• Detail‑oriented, able to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Solid knowledge of eFront.
• Familiarity with Alteryx or Tableau is a plus.
