Private Equity Analyst – Value Creation & AI Operations

About the role

The Private Equity Analyst (Value Creation Focus) will join CoBe Capital’s Swiss team in Lucerne. Reporting to the Managing Director, the analyst will work hands‑on with portfolio companies to drive operational improvements, especially through AI, automation and scalable processes. The role blends operational work with occasional support on acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with management teams of portfolio companies to identify manual, repetitive processes and redesign them into automated, AI‑supported workflows.
• Evaluate, select and deploy practical AI and automation tools across finance, operations, reporting and customer‑service functions, delivering measurable efficiency gains.
• Standardise and document processes, build tooling, and promote a culture of speed and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
• Support acquisition activities: review CIMs, prepare screening materials, build financial models and conduct market analysis.
• Participate in due‑diligence presentations, transaction negotiations and financing arrangements.
• Assist in the carve‑out and integration of newly acquired companies into the CoBe portfolio.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
• Enthusiastic about applying AI and automation to real‑world business challenges.
• Ability to work independently with portfolio management teams and to influence operational change.
• Interest in private‑equity environments and exposure to deal processes is a plus.
