Process Engineer

About the role

Jabil is seeking a Process Engineer II to develop stable manufacturing processes, manage costs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards at its Le Locle site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and stabilize manufacturing processes using a structured development approach.
• Manage cost‑reduction projects related to scrap, reprocessing and consumables.
• Design and develop tools, fixtures, gauges and special equipment in collaboration with technicians and vendors.
• Plan, execute and document process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) to ensure robust, compliant processes.
• Analyze and optimise workflows to improve quality, efficiency and throughput.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to meet internal procedures and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, process validation or quality engineering.
• Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals or aerospace is a plus.
• Professional proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Knowledge of validation requirements (IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Understanding of NC/CAPA processes and regulatory standards (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, GMP).
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and documentation abilities.
