Process Engineer – Varistor Manufacturing (80-100%)

About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our varistor manufacturing team. In this 80‑100 % position you will drive process improvements, introduce new technologies and lead projects that enhance quality, efficiency and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute improvement projects within varistor production.
• Analyze, optimise and further develop existing manufacturing processes.
• Introduce new materials, technologies and manufacturing methods.
• Validate and stabilise processes while meeting quality and cost targets.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Promote continuous‑improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality, engineering and maintenance teams.
• Create and maintain process documentation and technical reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Structured, solution‑oriented way of working.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• High level of initiative and ownership.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
