Procurement Specialist 80-100% (w/m/d)

About the role

Dexion Automation, part of the Gonvarri Group, develops and implements custom warehouse automation and intralogistics systems, mainly high-bay racking systems, and operates on national and international markets. Its team at the new site in Hochdorf is looking for a procurement specialist working 80 to 100%, with flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure optimal availability of goods and services while taking account of deadlines, current supply market conditions and budgets
• Solicit, compare and evaluate offers
• Place orders independently, process them and monitor them
• Check order confirmations and follow up outstanding deliveries
• Organise national and international transport with regard to cost and ecology
• Work closely with project managers, assembly teams and accounting
• Maintain article and supplier master data and optimise procurement processes

Required profile

• Technical basic training with commercial further education and procurement experience, or alternatively commercial basic training with procurement experience in a manufacturing company
• Business understanding, strong cost and quality awareness
• Organisational skills, assertiveness and enjoyment of working with different stakeholders
• Good German spoken and written, good English
• Team player, flexible, motivated and communicative

Required skills

• IT affinity with good MS Office knowledge
• Self-reliant, structured and solution-oriented approach
