Product Designer, AI-Native Products (Staff-Level / L6)
Jobgether
Job description
About the role
A partner company is looking for a Staff-level Product Designer (L6) based in Switzerland to join a team shaping AI-powered workplace experiences. You will lead the design of AI-native products that make conversational AI and autonomous workflows feel intuitive, trustworthy and useful, working closely with Product and Engineering leaders to define design direction and product strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design of major AI-native initiatives, from defining user problems and prototyping to delivery, launch and continuous improvement.
- Define the design vision and strategy for conversational and AI-powered experiences, keeping them consistent across related products.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to set product principles, quality standards and priorities aligned with business goals and user needs.
- Create engaging interactions with real-time AI avatars supporting employee learning, skills development and workplace conversations.
- Design interaction patterns for AI-driven and agentic systems, balancing automation with user control, transparency and trust.
- Build structured workflows, contextual guidance and feedback mechanisms so users understand AI behavior and can refine results.
- Prototype and validate new interaction models with rapid prototyping and user testing.
- Incorporate user research and customer feedback, especially for enterprise environments where quality, compliance and scalability matter.
- Raise the design craft standard and communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional teams.
Required profile
- Significant experience designing and shipping complex, high-usage digital products and leading major initiatives as a senior individual contributor.
- Experience with AI-powered products, agentic capabilities, conversational interfaces or systems where AI acts autonomously is highly valued.
- Proven ability to take ideas from early exploration through validation, execution, launch and ongoing optimization.
- Ability to present design decisions, facilitate design reviews and influence stakeholders across Product and Engineering.
Required skills
- Strong interaction and visual design skills, with a portfolio showing high-quality execution and measurable UX improvements.
- Systems thinking: understanding how AI capabilities, model limitations, technical architecture and product constraints shape interaction design.
- Trust-centered design: experience building workflows where transparency, user control and confidence in AI outputs are essential.
- Prototyping and experimentation, and adaptability to solve novel problems.
What we offer
- Flexible, remote-friendly work with potential to work from London, Copenhagen, Munich or Zurich.
- Up to 60 days per year working from anywhere, subject to policy and practical limits.
- 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays in your country of residence.
- Home-office setup and access to an employee referral scheme.
