About the role
Join a new product development team at Stryker and gain in‑depth knowledge of the Trauma & Extremities portfolio. You will work on the design and development of bone plates, screws, external fixators and related instruments while supporting engineering documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Generate ideas, create prototypes and conduct testing for orthopedic devices.
- Assist in the design and development of bone plates, screws, and external fixators.
- Prepare technical and quality documentation required for CE and FDA compliance.
- Perform literature searches and reviews to apply clinical insights to product development.
Required profile
- Enrolled in a technical/mechanical study program (HF, FH, University, ETH).
- Strong interest in the medical‑device industry, preferably with some prior exposure.
- Excellent analytical reasoning, proactive work style and problem‑solving abilities.
- Very good command of English; German knowledge is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficient CAD skills (mandatory).
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is advantageous.
What we offer
- Hybrid or onsite work mode.
- Start date in March 2027 for a duration of 6‑9 months.
- Annual salary range CHF 57,600 – CHF 95,900.
- Travel requirement of approximately 10 %.
