Product Development Internship (6‑9 months)

About the role
Join a new product development team at Stryker and gain in‑depth knowledge of the Trauma & Extremities portfolio, including bone plates, screws and external fixators.
Key responsibilities
- Generate ideas, create prototypes and conduct testing for bone plates, screws and external fixators.
- Support engineers with technical and quality documentation required for CE and FDA regulations.
- Perform literature searches and apply clinical knowledge to current development projects.
Required profile
- Enrolled in a technical/mechanical study program (HF, FH, University, ETH).
- Strong interest in the medical device industry, with some prior exposure preferred.
- Analytical reasoning, proactive work style and problem‑solving abilities.
- Very good command of English; German knowledge is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficient CAD skills.
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is an advantage.
What we offer
- Salary range CHF57,600 – CHF95,900 per year.
- Hybrid or onsite work mode.
- Travel up to 10% of time.
- Start in March 2027 for a 6‑9 month period.
