Production & Assembly Technician – Drone Systems

About the role

Join Sunflower Labs' production team in Zurich to assemble, inspect, configure and test autonomous drone security systems. This hands‑on position is ideal for candidates with basic technical knowledge who enjoy working methodically in a fast‑growing robotics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components for drones and base‑station units.
• Build sub‑assemblies and final systems following drawings, assembly instructions and test procedures.
• Prepare parts, tools and workstations; keep the workspace clean, organized and safe.
• Inspect mechanical parts and electronic components, checking screws, fasteners and dimensions with basic measuring tools.
• Use torque tools and a multimeter to configure and test electronic boards and modules.
• Perform pass/fail tests, record results and report quality issues or unclear instructions.

Required profile

• Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of screws, fasteners, dimensions and torque.
• Ability to use a multimeter and handle electronic components safely.
• Capability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Methodical, reliable working style with strong attention to detail.
• Good computer skills for documentation and test records.
• Fluent written and spoken English and valid authorization to work in Switzerland.
