Production Manager

About the role

Destinus is looking for a Production Manager to lead the integration and testing of mechanisms, safety devices, and pyrotechnic assemblies on the shop floor. The role combines hands‑on work with hazardous materials and team leadership in a safety‑critical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of two to three assembly technicians.
• Prepare and maintain the Shopfloor Management Board.
• Oversee daily production, monitor material stock, and ensure sufficient supplies.
• Prepare assembly kits and manage material flow through the production floor.
• Assemble and integrate pyrotechnic assemblies directly.
• Handle energetic and hazardous materials according to safety protocols, permits, and operating procedures.
• Write, maintain, and follow SOPs for assembly, integration, and testing.
• Support troubleshooting and corrective actions together with engineering and QA teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of assembly workflows while maintaining safety and quality compliance.

Required profile

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably MSD.
• Strong hands‑on experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Willingness or experience working with energetic, pyrotechnic, or hazardous materials; knowledge of relevant safety requirements is a plus.
• Background in quality control, functional testing, and documentation standards.
• Ability to write and execute detailed SOPs in a safety‑critical environment.
• High attention to detail and a disciplined, methodical approach.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
