Production Operator – Drone Assembly

About the role

Wingtra is looking for a Production Operator to join its assembly line in Zurich. You will work hands‑on assembling cutting‑edge aerial robots, ensuring each drone meets the highest quality standards before delivery to customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble Wingtra drones, including gluing, sanding, drilling, and custom labeling of parts.
• Mount and wire electronic components, perform soldering of cables, connectors and components.
• Calibrate, test and conduct quality control on finished drones.
• Support basic inventory tracking and suggest improvements to production workflows.
• Participate in Lean and 5S initiatives to optimise the manufacturing process.

Required profile

• Formal technical training (e.g., EFZ Elektroniker/in, Automatiker/in, Polymechaniker/in) or several years of similar assembly experience.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience assembling electromechanical devices.
• Strong manual dexterity and a proven track record of precise, series‑production work.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
