Production & Supply Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Production & Supply Planner to support a leading international manufacturing organisation near Zurich Airport. This 12‑month contract role provides operational support across production and supply planning in a fast‑paced environment, with an immediate start required.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily production and supply planning activities to ensure smooth operational performance.
• Coordinate with production, procurement and key stakeholders to confirm capacity and material availability.
• Monitor inventory, open orders, backlogs and delivery schedules to maintain continuity of supply.
• Prioritise and manage critical operational topics, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain planning data, reporting and analysis to support decision‑making.
• Proactively identify risks and provide structured recommendations to minimise operational impact.

Required profile

• Experience in production planning, supply planning or a similar supply‑chain function.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment and quickly understand new processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel capability.
• Exposure to ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
• Immediate availability or ability to start at short notice.
